Dreaming is such a peculiar thing. We lead these completely normal, rational lives (or we kid ourselves that we do), and then every night we close our eyes and go stark raving mad for eight hours. I love that. It’s a level of reality that I’ve always thought is every bit as important and interesting as the life you live day by day.

Lola poses for KyleCassidy beside the scary tree.

Perhaps you do not think it is scary. You may not see the staring eye, the twisted mouth… “It’s pareidolia!” you mutter.

And you’re right, of course. Probably it isn’t a scary tree at all.

I want Gaiman’s dog…and this tree.

Stories you read when you’re the right age never quite leave you. You may forget who wrote them or what the story was called. Sometimes you’ll forget precisely what happened, but if a story touches you it will stay with you, haunting the places in your mind that you rarely ever visit.

young lady just surprised me with my first ever Neil Gaiman book…even before I had saved up the funds to purchase another book of his as per Levins recommendation. She reads minds, she does.

 恭喜发财 everyone.

This one is just for Tumblr. You can tell because I am in my pyjamas. (I just had to teach my computer the spelling Pyjamas, after it corrected it to pajamas)

good old Neil Gaiman. He was in The Simpsons recently (very, very funny episode). Have you read any of his books Levin Koo? I want to read American Gods…I hear he’s an amazingly imaginative writer and fuses some off genres together in his work. Sounds really interesting.
